  • General Instructions
    • 1. Applications will be accepted only after complete payment of application fee, advance Ground Water Charges and Penalty, if any.


      2. Applicants facing issues while making payment through NOCAP are advised to communicate the same to CGWA (cgwa@nic.in) alongwith screenshot.


      3. Mandatory Processing Fee - Rs. 10,000/- for Fresh NOC and Rs. 5,000/- for Renewal.


      4. All applicants are hereby informed that henceforth no hard copies will be accepted by Regional Offices as well as CGWA, Delhi.


      5. All compliance reports, ground water level and quality data, ground water abstraction data, impact assessment reports etc. and replies to queries raised by Regional Office or CGWA may be sent by mail in PDF format only.


      6. All the payments to be made via make payment link through NOCAP only.


      7. Payment related to obtaining NOC using direct bharat kosh will be disable from 20 Nov 2022.


      8. All the applicants have to submit Udyog Aadhar/Udhyam/MSME certificate to the concerned Regional Offices of Central Ground Water Board (CGWB) if their project area falls in over exploited category as per GWRE 2020 and their groundwater withdrawal is less than 10 cum/day as per the new guidelines.


      9. All Haryana pending/new/renewal cases will be dealt by HWRA only. Users from Haryana need not deposit Abstraction charges in the Bharatkosh after this notice.


      10. Project Proponents from Punjab State are informed that Punjab Government has started regulation of Ground Water, hence CGWA NOCAP Portal has stopped processing of already existing applications, as well as accepting fresh and renewal applications for Projects in Punjab.
